| Hello, welcome on our website. |
|
We are Peter and Ina and we collect gaming machines from the 1930 - 1960 era.
We have been doing this since the mid-70s. Our first jukebox has been in our possession for over 30 years.
We discovered a Wurlitzer 1015 in a little shop in the Jordaan in Amsterdam and fell in love instantly. Sadly, the owner didn't want to sell it at any price. Too bad for us, as the jukebox trading didn't exist as such back then and we would love to get one anyway.
We didn't give up and we kept searching. Finally, we found a Wurlitzer 1100 in Brussels and so it all started.
One led to the next and little by little we have assembled a unique collection of gaming machines. The entire ground floor of our house is specially furnished for this purpose.
You fancy yourself back in an old-time amusement arcade and each time we have a party, people queue up to play a game.
Despite this being the time of computer games, everyone enjoys playing these machines, especially the gun games, the hockey game, the bowling alley and the shuffle alleys.
Among others, we have slot machines, pinball machines, vending machines, driving games, a 26 ft. long bowling alley and a peep show cabinet that requires you to insert a coin to be able to view a couple of super sexy pin-ups.
The games you play on those machines are usually pretty simple, but the cabinets themselves are true pieces of art. The playfields and the backglasses are definitely worth a closer look. The longer you look, the more details you spot and that is one of the reasons why we are so fascinated by them.
Most of our cabinets are restored and they all operate perfectly.
Please feel free to take a look around on our site and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Have fun, Peter and Ina. |
