Take off a little plane 12 times, and try to make as many good landings on large International airports as possible. That's the intention of Chicago Coin's "Jet Pilot".
You do this with the help of a steering wheel on the front of the cabinet. For takeoff you turn the wheel to the left. After you have reached sufficient speed and altitude, you get clearance to prepare for landing (a bell rings). Herefor you turn the wheel back to the center position. To land you turn the wheel to the right.
The game starts with 6 out of 12 airports lit. After a good landing, the light on the regarding airport goes out. If you succeed to get your jet safely back on the ground 6 times, the other 6 (outer) airports light up. At 12 perfect landings you are a real "Jet Pilot".
