Motorama Genco 1957

You drive a Plymouth Belvedere across the U.S.A. From the East Coast to the West Coast and back. How much time you have for the trip? To be precise: two minutes. So it is going to be full throttle! Which, by the way, won't be a problem because the Motorama has an "Automatic Drive" button. With this, you can control the forward and backward driving and the speed.
You start in New York and for every white rollover contact on the road you hit, you score 1 point. You "only" have to score 53 points to get to the finish in Washington. To speed up the trip a bit, you score 2 points for hitting a red rollover contact. That adds up nicely. Moreover, if you manage to park your car correctly along the way, you score 2 bonus points.
Meanwhile, you're on the road and after 10 points you drive into Minneapolis. A while later, after 23 points, you leave San Francisco behind and at 41 points you rush past New Orleans. But sadly the "Game Over" light is already on and you are stranded in Miami with a score of 47 points. The backglass shows that you're only a "Classic Driver". Now that's a bummer. Let's try again.
