Gayety Bally 1955

In 1955 Bally manufactured two bingo's with "Magic Pockets", of which Gayety was the first one.
If, while speeding up the Gayety, "Magic Pockets" is lit on the backglass, you can move the balls that were shot in holes 1-6 - by pressing the buttons on the beam - to the right, and the balls in holes 2-7 to the left. Imagine you hit holes 18 and 19 with your first two balls. The next ball hits hole 3. The 3 is of no use for you, but you would like to get hole 4. You press the right-button on the beam, and the ball jumps from 3 to 4. You now scored a 3-in-line.
Another example: you shoot three balls into 2-6-23. So no score. If you press the right-button, the balls in 2 and 6 jump into 3 and 7. Then you keep pressing the button until the ball in hole 3 jumps via 4 into 5. The other ball is in hole 7 already, and can't go any further to the right. Now you have a ball in holes 5 and 7. If you press the left-button twice, the balls jump into hole 3 and 5 and.. again you score a 3-in-line.
If you shoot two balls in the upper row, you can move one ball into hole 1 or 7, and bump the other ball against it, so it is released back into the playfield.
Except for the "Magic Pockets", the Gayety also presents the "Magic Lines". Those are the first three vertical rows. By turning the knobs on the beam you can move those rows up and down. Besides, you can score 200 or 300 points with "Corners Score", and - during speeding up - hole 10 and/or 25 might just lit up. Finally, there is also the possibility to receive 3 extra balls.
