After inserting a coin, the monkeys start playing their instruments at a maniacal tempo. They perform simultaneously to the music: as the music stops, the monkeys stop as well.
The Bimbo Box was extremely popular with children in the 60s. The monkey orchestra's were often found at warehouses, playgrounds and amusement parks.
